Child safety standards
Last updated: 7 October 2026
Ortama (Parsius Bilişim) has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and for child sexual abuse material (CSAM). This page describes the standards we apply in the app and on our website.
Adults only
- Ortama is only for people aged 18 and over. Sign-up requires a date of birth; users under 18 cannot create an account.
- Accounts found to belong to minors are closed immediately.
Prohibited content and behaviour
- Any content, message, photo or link that sexualises minors.
- Sharing, requesting or pointing to child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
- Attempts to contact, deceive or persuade minors to meet (grooming).
- Creating tables, communities or events to facilitate any of the above.
Reporting
- Every profile, table and chat message in the app has a "Report" option, and users can block other users.
- Outside the app you can write to hello@ortama.app. Child safety reports are prioritised.
What we do
- Reports are reviewed by our moderators with priority; an automatic content filter runs on chats.
- When CSAE or CSAM is found, the content is removed, the accounts involved are permanently banned and records are preserved for legal proceedings.
- We report to the competent authorities as required by law (in Türkiye the police and İhbar Web, in Germany the police and jugendschutz.net, and NCMEC or other relevant organisations where applicable).
Legal compliance
- Ortama complies with the child safety laws of the countries it operates in and with the Google Play Child Safety Standards policy.
